Pre-poo- with extra virgin olive oil + *optional* condition that I bought & didn't like time: 45min-1hr without heat before the use of a clarifying shampoo.
Detangling My Hair- In the shower with conditioner in my hair under running water using a wide tooth comb. I detangle my hair before ALL wet hair routines.
Drying My Hair-I use a t-shirt to adsorb excess water. Next, I apply my leave-in conditoner then an oil. Air-dry.
Green Tea Rinse- Helps reduce my shedding. They are done AS NEEDED. Never done less than 2 weeks apart.
Telax My Hair- Every 7 months (self-texlax)
Trim My Hair- Every 3 months/12 weeks
Indirect Heat Usage- Once per month
Dusting (refreshing the ends of my hair)- Once per month (This is done by using the search & destroy method)
Deep Condition- Weekly with a plastic bag on my head. with heat: 20-30min. without heat: 1hr.
Protein Treatment- Every 3rd Sunday or as needed. Plastic bag is used to cover my head. with heat: 20-30min. without heat: 45 mins.
Cowash: At least 1x per week. NOTE: I use both cleansing cowashes & rinse out conditioners. The cleansing cowash is used every Wednesday. The rinse out conditioner is optionally used on Saturday.
